See the World More Clearly
Vision correction encompasses treatments that improve how clearly your eyes focus light and reduce dependence on glasses or contact lenses. At OnSight Eye Center, options include EVO ICL, which places an implantable lens in the eye while preserving the natural lens, and lens replacement using an intraocular lens (IOL). Depending on the procedure and lens selected, vision correction can address nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, presbyopia, cataracts, and difficulty seeing clearly at different distances.
Benefits of Vision Correction:
- Clearer, sharper vision at one or more distances
- Reduced dependence on glasses or contact lenses
- Personalized options based on your eyes, age, and visual goals
- Correction of nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, or presbyopia
- Advanced lens technologies tailored to different lifestyle needs
- Greater convenience during everyday activities, work, hobbies, and travel
- Long-term vision correction using advanced implantable lens options
You Have Several Vision Correction Options
EVO ICL
EVO ICL is an implantable lens placed behind your iris and in front of your natural lens to correct moderate-to-severe nearsightedness and astigmatism. Unlike laser vision correction, it does not remove corneal tissue, and your natural lens remains securely in place.
Lens Replacement With IOLs
Lens replacement removes your natural lens and replaces it with an artificial intraocular lens selected for your vision needs. Depending on your prescription, lifestyle, and goals, different IOLs can improve vision at specific distances and address certain refractive errors.
Monofocal Lens
The simplest IOL option, a monofocal lens has one focal point and is typically set to provide clear distance vision. Its single-focus design prioritizes vision at one chosen range, with glasses generally needed to see clearly at other distances.
Light Adjustable Lens™ (LAL®)
Unlike IOLs with a fixed prescription at implantation, the LAL can be customized after surgery. A series of precisely controlled light treatments modifies the lens once your eye has healed, allowing your vision to be fine-tuned based on your results.
PanOptix® Trifocal IOL
PanOptix has a trifocal design, which provides three focal ranges for near, intermediate, and distance vision. This allows you to transition between activities such as reading, using a computer, and seeing across a room with less reliance on glasses.
Odyssey™ Multifocal Lens
Odyssey is designed around a full range of continuous vision rather than isolated focal points. Its multifocal technology provides strong near-to-distance vision, including intermediate vision, while helping minimize the need to switch between different pairs of glasses.
ClearView™ 3 Multifocal IOL
ClearView 3 uses a refractive multifocal design rather than a traditional diffractive optical system. It is designed to provide distance, intermediate, and near vision while minimizing visual disturbances, such as halos, that can occur with multifocal lens technologies.
enVista Envy™ IOL
enVista Envy combines an extended range of vision with technology designed to optimize light utilization. Its presbyopia-correcting design provides functional vision from distance through near while emphasizing visual quality and helping reduce dependence on corrective eyewear.
Vivity® Extended Vision IOL
Vivity differs from multifocal lenses by using non-diffractive technology to extend the eye’s range of focus. It emphasizes strong distance and intermediate vision, with functional near vision, while being designed to provide a visual disturbance profile similar to that of a monofocal lens.
Toric IOL
Toric IOLs are unique because they incorporate astigmatism correction into the replacement lens. Their optical design compensates for an irregularly curved cornea, simultaneously replacing your natural lens and correcting corneal astigmatism for sharper vision.
TECNIS PureSee
An advanced monofocal IOL, the TECNIS PureSee is engineered to deliver exceptional image quality across a range of lighting conditions, including low light. Its proprietary optical design minimizes visual disturbances such as halos and glare, offering a cleaner, crisper visual experience than traditional monofocal lenses.
